Life on Mars

0

Today's time has become very modern and due to this modernity scientists are engaged in the search of other planets,Scientists have been sending many tools on Mars planet for a long time! Many questions arise in the minds of the people about Mars planet! Like - is life on planet Mars?In the past was life on Mars planet? Will the people of the earth go to Mars planet in future? In the search of answers to many such questions, scientists have sent many tools on Mars planet! So let's know guys about Mars planet!

Scientist's about MARS-

According to the scientists, the planets of the solar system are of two types - "Terrestrial Planets" in which there is land, And "Gaseous planets" in which most of the gas. Mars is a terrestrial planet. Mars is a planet that is most similar to the Earth in our solar system. Therefore, Mars is one of the most preferred planet of all planets for scientists. Mars is also called a red planet because iron oxides is in high quantity on mars planet, due to which its color is dark red. The diameter of Mars is approximately 6,794 kilometers, which is only half of the Earth's diameter! According to the scientists, "Olympus Mons", the highest mountain in the solar system, is also located on the planet Mars. Mars has two moons named Phobos and Demos. On Mars, one day is 24 hours 38 minutes. There is also an atmosphere on Mars but oxygen is in very small quantities. Carbon dioxide is very high in its atmosphere. Apart from this, nitrogen is also in limited quantity.Due to low atmospheric pressure, the surface of Mars is not present in the liquid state.Polar ice peaks are seen largely made of water. If the quantity of aqueous ice is melted in the south polar icey peak then it is enough enough that the entire planetary surface will cover to 11 meters.According to the scientists, if the water on Mars is found in the liquid state, then there is a possibility of life on Mars!Although still searching for water on Mars.So far water have been found in solid state not in liquid state.

Mars Exploration Rover-

Spirit (Launched on July 8, 2003)
Opportunity (Launched on - July 10, 2003)
NASA's mission spirit & opportunity lasted 15 years! This mission was started in 2003! In which NASA sent two twins rovers on Mars! One of which was the name of a rover named spirit which was launched on July 8, 2003 and the name of the second rover was the opportunity which was launched on July 10, 2003! These rover were active on Mars from 2004 until the middle of 2018. It used to run from Rovers solar battery! The main work of these rovers was to find out whether there is possibility of life on Mars or not? Was there ever water on Mars? As well as give information about the types of minerals available. The Rovers roaming more than their capacity gave a lot of information to NASA.But at the beginning of June 2018, there was a massive dust storm on Mars, which caused the dust on the solar panel of that rover and within few days the rover's solar panel was unable to generate enough power to maintain communication! Due to lack of power, they have stopped working altogether. Even today, these rovers are on Mars.

Top Facts about Mars -

*Mars's gravity is one-third of the Earth's gravitational! This means, if any object falls on Mars, it will fall very slowly, compared to the earth!

*One day of Mars is 24 hours 38 minutes, which is slightly more than the Earth! Mars is about 140 million miles away from Earth!

*Mars has two moons named Phobos and Demos! Phobos is gradually leaning towards Mars, in every hundred years it bends 1.8 m toward Mars. The estimate is that, in 5 million years, Phobos will either collide or break down Mars and make a ring around Mars.

*Dust storms sometimes fly on Mars, causing this storm to completely encircle the whole planet Mars.

*Mars is 1.52 times more distant than the Sun compared to Earth, resulting in only 43% of Sun's light reach Mars.

*According to the scientists, in the past, the water on Mars was present in the liquid state! But now due to low atmospheric pressure, liquid water on the surface of Mars is not present! If the quantity of aqueous ice in the south polar Snowy peaks, if melted, then it is enough, that the entire planetary surface will cover up to 11 meters.

*In all planets of the Solar System, due to the same rotating axial tilt, the seasons on Mars and Earth are mostly identical. The lengths of Mars's seasons are almost double of Earth!

*There is no ozone layer on Mars. From this, the rays coming from the Sun on Mars The effect of radiation can be deadly.

Past & Future Life on MARS -

According to the scientists, there must have been life on Mars in the past! Under the remains of Mars's surface, scientists claim that in ancient times, Mars had water on the surface. There is also the possibility of the presence of micro-organisms on the possibility of water. But, scientists say that just getting the remains does not prove that there is a possibility of life on Mars. According to physicists, there must have been a developed civilization like Earth on Mars, which would have been destroyed due to the nuclear war! Although this is only the physical scientists' guess! Nobody knows how many truths are there in this matter! In future, scientists have not said anything about settling human life on Mars! The over-hot and cold temperatures, the poisonous atmosphere and the absence of water, due to these problems, these planets are unable to live the life of human civilization! On Mars, these problems can be solved only by terraforming! Terroroforming means changing the atmosphere of any land according to your mind! Although the human civilization of the earth is not so advanced, That he could do the terraforming. If human civilization becomes so advanced that they can do the terraforming then the human civilization can settle down on the planet Mars!
